I recently received an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal in new york state which will be closed in a year. I was wondering if that will show up on social class checks, mainly in the college application process if I am applying for school within that one year cycle (and whether I need to check the box that says I have been arrested). A Colorado Chest of drawers of Investigations Criminal records check reveals an arrest for DWAI. Would an FBI criminal social class check reveal this as well? Would a records check from another state? Thanks much.
Is there a statute of limitations on Criminal records shown to employers. For example, do the results of an employment screening only show the last X years of Criminal records? What is the X – if there is an X? Please provide verification on your sources.
